Inspiration & Encouragement

“When someone is in pain it is very difficult for them to advocate for themselves. That’s why it is so important for family caregivers to develop the confidence and communication skills necessary to advocate for their loved ones. Family caregivers can’t control or cure their loved one’s pain but they can wield mighty swords to overcome lack of attention by those who can. Being a health care advocate is one of the most important jobs a family caregiver has.”
