Carol Curtiss, MSN, RN-BC

Massachusetts Pain Initiative

“Ideally, effective pain management involves a comprehensive assessment of not only the pain, but the person with pain and how pain affects their ability to function in their everyday life. It would be wonderful if access to care were not an issue and pain assessment and management was available to everyone. It would also be ideal if comprehensive pain management included interdisciplinary teams across the board.”
