Community Outreach

This section provides information and tools to reach out on a community level with your pain management messages.

Established civic organizations provide a platform to reach out to those who are service-oriented, active, and influential in the local community. Note that the audiences discussed in this section may not have a specific reason to care about the issue of pain management. However, because of the large number of people with pain, many of their constituents may suffer or care for someone who does. These groups offer the opportunity to move away from “preaching to the choir” and enlist new support for your cause.
